Field Operations Overview
Comtech’s Field Operations team consists of certified crew foremen, technicians and technologists throughout western Canada who perform services on structures from towers to grain silos to office buildings in urban, rural, and remote locations year-round.

Our technicians, technologists and engineers are highly trained and versed in CDMA, EvDO, UMTS/HSPA, LTE and 5G networks. To work with across western Canada and provide project assistance to our other offices, Comtech’s operations teams obtain inter-provincial training, and are equipped with vendor- and industry-specific certifications.

Tower Services
As part of a turn-key solution or as-needed, we provide tower inspections, builds, installs, decommissioning, repairs and maintenance.
Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
We provide in-building cellular enhancement systems (DAS) to address connectivity issues so you can attract and retain clients, differentiate yourself in the market, and create an asset that adds value to your building.
Fabrication
Through our in-house custom steel modification and fabrication services, we will add value to your projects with reduced costs, minimized lead times, direct delivery and certified technicians. Our custom fabrication solutions include tower reinforcement, antenna mounts, rooftop mounts, pinwheels, vibration dampers, H-frames and chair mounts.
Structured Cabling
Whether your project is an upgrade or brand new, we will design, install, test and manage cabling and associated materials with extensive field experience and the highest level of training. We have journeyperson electricians on staff, are a registered infrastructure contractor, hold Panduit partner certification, and have various degrees of training for CommScope, Belden, Wirewerks and others.
