Comtech (Communication Technologies) Ltd. is an integrated communications company providing state-of-the-art telecommunication services across North America. We offer end-to-end solutions, including research and development, design, implementation, construction, and maintenance services, which come together to ensure quality, high-performance systems.

Through four divisions, we provide high-quality, cost-effective communications and consulting services for clients from diverse industries. These include resource-based industries like oil and gas and mining; municipal and provincial governments; other telecom providers; and public and private clients of all sizes.

Recognizing the need for well-site communications and the needs of Canada's thriving oil and gas market, Comtech was established in 1994 as a division of Industrial Electric in Weyburn, Saskatchewan and soon expanded into Alberta shortly after. Primarily a service company, Comtech soon saw the need to provide high-speed, low latency WAN service to those remote offices that gathered the well-site data. To meet the needs of Canada's thriving oil and gas market, we expanded into Alberta soon after - bringing with us our knowledge and expertise of that sector.

Comtech now has seven Canadian offices. We operate in Vancouver, Calgary, Nisku, Saskatoon, Regina, and our original Weyburn location - and as of 2017, we now operate in Winnipeg. Our high-quality communication networks now stretch from coast to coast, allowing our clients to keep in constant contact with their operations.

Safety is a core value at Comtech and we are constantly striving to improve and monitor our performance through a respected safety program that complies with OH&S legislation.

We adhere to the highest safety standards and are an esteemed member of several safety-related organizations, such as the Alberta Construction Safety Association. We are also registered with safety management organizations like ISNetworld, Complyworks, PICS, and PEC.

Comtech has a Certificate Of Recognition (COR) in Alberta and Saskatchewan and is in good standing with the WCB in Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, Ontario, Manitoba, and Nova Scotia.
