Delivering 3G and 4G Cellular Coverage Solutions

Comtech has recently embarked on a number of DAS (distributed antenna system) projects throughout Saskatchewan. A major cellular service provider requested Comtech deliver end-to-end solutions for extending 3rd and 4th generation cellular coverage to several large venues (sports arenas, event centers, office buildings, and shopping malls). This cellular coverage extension was project managed, engineered, tested, and installed solely by Comtech. It is expected to dramatically improve the service provider's customer satisfaction by offering their cellular customers first class voice and data services in areas where cellular coverage is typically challenging.

Comtech was able to deliver to the client's specifications and requirements, effectively turning the client's request into a viable product offering. Comtech's project management team led the coordinated efforts and in conjunction with the in-house engineering team delivered and designed DAS systems which ensured cellular coverage was extended into every area of the building. The solutions provided were installed by Comtech's team of highly trained technicians who are led by experienced construction managers. To finish off these installations Comtech's engineering team traveled to site to commission and test the DAS system leaving their customers with high-quality, proven, and fully functioning solutions. The projects were then closed off by Comtech's CAD and Engineering teams delivering a full suite of as-built documentation detailing every aspect of the design and installation.
